All the Good things

Happy Friday,

Hope you have all been having a good week and have time for crafting over the weekend?

Have you seen these new Distinktive stamps in the catalogue? Aren’t they fabulous? These Distinktive stamps create different opacities in a single stamped image.

To create this background I have firstly created a watercolour background with the Aqua painter and Coastal Cabana ink and before it was full dry I have added a little Prussian Blue Brusho. Once completely dry I have the stamped the bubbles from the Playful Backgrounds set in versamark and heat embossed in white.

The Koi were inked in Mango Melody but before I stamped I used a sponge dauber on the stamp in Soft Suede to add the darker touches to the edge of the fish.

These were stamped out twice and hand cut. The fish on the right has been glued directly to the background and the fish on the left has been raised up on dimensional to add a little more depth. The sentiment is from the Make a Difference stamp set. An alphabet set like this allows you to truly personalise a card or create any sentiment you would like.

To finish I have added a few thin strips of gold glimmer, some solid white twine and some sparkles from the Iridescent Sequin assortment which has some really pretty blues and green sequins included.

I also thought this card would be a perfectly themed card to enter this weeks Alphabet Challenge blog where the theme is F for Fish, you can check out their challenge here.

Thanks for stopping by
