Hello and welcome this Artisan Blog Hop!

The Share What You Love promotion is currently available exclusively for demonstrator pre-order until the 30th April 2018, one of the many many reasons to join as a demonstrator. Also during this time the pre-order you can purchase ‘A La Carte’, this means you can purchase individual items allowing you to top up your bundle with more paper or perhaps and extra Statement Of My Heart Single Stamp?
Individual products will not then be available until 1st June. These come in three bundles:
#149804 Just Getting Started
#149808 A Little More, Please
#149812 Gotta Have it All

These bundles including the FREE products WILL NOT be available in the 2018-2019 annual catalogue so be sure to get your hands on them during the pre-order.

Today I am showcasing the Just Getting Started Bundle, this is ideal for a new crafter or would make a great addition to your workshops or classes to showcase this gorgeous stamp set and new in-colour. I have made a set of 5 cards. I have kept the look of the popped out word throughout each card. To achieve this look, I have stamped the sentiment in Old Olive onto the card. I have stamped the sentiment again in Grapefruit Grove on a spare piece of Very Vanilla to be able to cut out the chosen word. I have left a little boarder of Very Vanilla as I have cut these out as this is not seen against the background and make the cutting out much easier.

For this card I have used this fabulous watercolour background stamp in the set. To achieve the lighter shade of Grapefruit Grove I have stamped off on to scrap paper first and then stamped onto the card. The flower was the added in Old Olive and again I have stamped the flowers seperatly onto a scrap piece of Very Vanilla to be able to fussy cut out the flowers and add them over the top of the original stamped image using multipurpose glue.

This one took a little more time, but can be achieved with the Just Getting Started Bundle. I have stamped and cut out 13 leaves and the layered them around the sentiment. I only added glue to the stem so you can tuck the next leaf and flowers underneath the one before.

For this card I have stamped down the right hand edge of the card and then cut out around the lines off the flowers which adds interest to the boarder. Again, I have stamped the flowers in Grapefruit Grove and layered these on top. To hide any of the stems of the flowers I have added a panel (5cm x 12.5cm or 2″ x 4-7/8″) of Very Vanilla to the front.

For the final card I am sharing with you, you may notice the Old Olive layer? This is NOT cardstock as this is not included in the bundle, but instead is a piece of Very Vanilla, and to achieve this look I have simply used the ink pad to add the colour to the edges of the paper. Allow to dry for a few moments and then layer up. You could achieve this with any colour and is a great way to layer up if you do have the coordinating cardstock to hand.

I absolutely adore this bundle and I know you will love using this too. Customers can purchase these bundles from 1st – 31st May (#149804 Just Getting Started, #149808 A Little More, Please or #149812 Gotta Have it All), but if you can’t wait why not join? 1. Thank you Elizabeth, it took a bit of time & you could achieve a similar look with the Stampin’ Write markers but I didn’t have these (yet!) & I was quite happy cutting out in front of a film x

  3. Ok totally nailed that simple and sweet challenge! Love that wreath :)

  4. Your cards are Beautiful I don’t see dies in the kit, almost everyone in the hop used cut out images. If this doesn’t have dies, Stampin’ Up! missed the mark because it seems you need cut images to Make interesting cards with the stamp sets
most of us don’t have the time for fussy cutting and many people don’t enjoy it

    1. Thank you so much :) No you are right, no coordinating dies for this stamp set. I think fussy cutting is like marmite (LOL) some people love it & others not so much… I love my dies and big shot but find fussy cutting quite therapeutic, however if it’s not your bag then others in the hop have ideas without cutting and there are also die cut images in the embellishment kit or lots of other dies which could work really well with this set instead.
