Welcome to the last Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop of 2016, hope you have all been having a lovely Christmas break. I have been having some lovely family time as well as some crafting in preparation for the upcoming classes in the new year and launch of the new Spring/Summer catalogue. As well as there being lots of new goodies to get your hands on, Jan-March also means Sale-a-bration, which means FREE product – whooop whooop!!!!

So, have you heard of Sale-a-bration (SAB) before? If you are not sure or have not heard of it before let me fill you in on the 3 ways in which you can benefit during this time…

1. Shop – For every £45 spend, you can choose a free SAB item

2. Join – Now is the perfect time to join. Not only do you get the chance to choose your starter kit (any items from any catalogue). This is £99 HOWEVER you get to choose £130 of product (no catch!) PLUS during SAB 2 additional stamp sets up to the value of £93!! WOW

3. Host – A chance to get some friends together for a fun night in or if you don’t feel you have space why not host a virtual party online (via FB) You can earn hostess rewards which can even be used towards a starter kit.

The 3 cards I am sharing with you today are all using the ‘Special Reason’ bundle which is the stamp set and coordinating dies (Purchased together and you SAVE 10% – Pg 42 of the Spring/Summer Catalogue). If purchased in the wood-mount you would earn a FREE Sale-a-bration item, or if you purchased the clear you could add a little something to reach the magic £45.

The ‘Thank You’ is from a FREE Sale-a-bration set called ‘So very much’ which is mainly a large and simple thank you with some extra add on words (5 stamps in total within this set)

As you can see I have used the ‘Thank You’ as a background to the middle card (using Pink Pirouette). However on the first card (on the left) I have stamped it in black first and then used the black marker (brush end) to create some faux brush lettering. I have made the downwards strokes thicker and left the upwards strokes thinner. You could create this effect with any of the Stampin’ Up! colours – stamping in any ink colour and using matching Stampin’ write marker.

These coordinating dies can be used in a number of combinations, below is the Stampin’ Up! video showing this off in even more detail.

Did you know I hold regular monthly classes at the Wick Hall, West Sussex on the first Tuesday of every month.

Are you near Littlehampton, West Sussex (UK)? Are you looking for a new hobby for the new year?

These are for everyone, no experience or equipment nessesary. We normally make 3-4 cards and the cost of the class is £10 0r FREE with a £25 spend on the night. All you need to do is contact me via my blog or by email (coastalcrafter@googlemail.com) to book your space. Booking closes 7 days before the event.

Would you like to come along and have a taster of my class? I am holding a Catalogue launch event on Sunday 8th Jan, at the Wick Hall. The cost is £5, which includes making a card, a copy of the new catalogues, tea/coffee, cake, raffle ticket and to have a fun morning. I would LOVE to see you there!
