Hello and welcome to the first Artisan Design Team Blog Hop for 2018! – I’m stilling pinching myself!

You may have hopped on over from Elizabeth Price over in the USA or joined with me, either way a warm welcome.

I am so excited about the year ahead, and I really don’t have the words to explain how much being chosen for Artisan means to me! I honestly have not stopped smiling since I received the phone call at the end of last year from the Stampin’ Up! home office!? All the build up to the announcement, sharing the news with my friends and family and starting to get to know the team of super talented demonstrators from around the world has already been so much fun and we are only at the start of the year!

What is the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team?
The Artisan Design Team is a group of creative and talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world selected by Stampin’ Up! to blog about the projects they create.  We will be participating in Artisan Blog Hops, sharing Instagram top tips as well as designing for the Stampin’ Up Corporate blog posts.
Did you know Stampin’ Up! share their Corporate blog posts within the NOTES section of this Facebook page? Be sure to check this out and save it to your favourites for lots of gorgeous inspiration from fellow Artisan Design Team members.
For this first hop of the year we are showcasing some of the amazing Sale-A-Bration items on offer! I am sharing with you the Amazing You stamp set which I love and I already have used it a lot. For me, the flower jumps out from this set, but words and sunburst add some really fun elements making this stamp set so versatile for many occasions and great for masculine cards too.
I have focused on the leaves to the side of the flower image as my starting point and as you will see further down I have paired this up with the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper.
I have used Black Archival ink to stamp just the leaves down the edge of the whisper white piece of card. The sentiments have been stamped in Versamark on Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist and embossed in White. I have fussy cut the ‘amazing’ leaving a small boarder of the melon mambo around the edges, and used the trimmer to cut the other sentiments.
The accents are a combination of Rhinestones and Glitter Enamel Dots, both coloured in the Dark Bermuda Bay Blend. I have also used a touch of the new Shimmery White Embossing Paste with the Sweet Soiree Mask but you can see this much clearer in the photo further down the post.

Amazing You is a great set for different occasions with the sunburst and sentiments giving you options for more masculine cards

For this Gift Bag I have used the Petal Passion Paper to coordinating with the look of the black leaves on the card. This was made with the Gift Bag Punch Board and made up is approx 3-1/8″ wide x 7-6/8″ tall. It was made form a sheet of DSP measuring 9″ x 11″. This is a medium size gift bag and the punch board allows you to made small & large (width) plus you can alter the height between 4″ and 12″ – so this gives you lots of different combinations.

Coordinating Gift Bag to match with the Amazing You cards

Once I started with these card I couldn’t stop I had some extra embossed sentiments, so I made a set of cards. I think these bundled together with a little treat in the gift bag would make a lovely present?

The card on the left has used a couple of 5cm whisper white strips cut with the banner punch to different lengths. I have stamped with the Amazing You leaves and added the sentiments. Once this banner was complete I have layered them together with a touch of the Petal Pattern paper and Bermuda Bay Ribbon.

On the card in the centre (also shown above), this is a better angle of photo to see the touches of sparkle embossing paste!

For the final card I have simply cut 2.5cm x 10.5cm strips of coordinating cardstock and stamped the leaves peeking out from behind the Lemon Lime Twist card. To finish I have added the sentiments and a bow in the Basic Black Twine.

Bright and Bold cards set using Amazing You, perfect for sending or bundling together as a gift.

I love that you have showcased this stamp set and it’s possibilities without using the coordinating dies, so you can see the amazing possibilities with the stamp set alone.
