Boys will be boys

Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far?

Today I am sharing some cards made with the ‘Boys will be boys’ stamp set

The first card I have designed was using a selection of the stamps from this set & randomly stamping a background (using black Memento Ink). Once I had my background I used the medium Smokey Slate pen around the outside of each image and blended with the lightest and filled the whole background.

The Lego image has been coloured using daffodil delight, night of navy and real red blendabilties This is on a Real Red base (the full length of A4 x 10.5cm), with a 1″ Night of Navy strip and I have used the circle punches 1-3/4″ and 2″ to layer the Lego block image.

The second card I have stamped on Black Cardstock with Versamark and embossed in white. Once you have your white outlines you can the colour the white embossing powder with your blendabilties pens – wow! I have used the medium Crumb Cake and medium Old Olive pens.

This robot has been coloured with all 3 of the Smokey Slate pens, and the arrow has been hand cut from top of the building blocks in this set.

Not just for boys!…………………..This card has been randomly stamped in Strawberry Slush ink and layered on matching card with Smokey Slate letters covered in gems for the added bling!!
