Global Design Project #67 Trees

In Stampin' Up! by Emma Goddard1 Comment

Happy New Year!! Welcome to my blog for the first post of 2017!

Hope you are having or had a fantastic evening with family and friends whether you are partying or having a quiet one! We are having a quiet family movie night & I’m writing this blog post.

I’d love to hear from you – are you making any New Years Resolutions?  Do you have any goals for 2017?

Personally I’m planning on stepping out of my comfort zone …..back in Nov I took some time to reflect on my Stampin’ Up! business and really think out about the direction I would like to take it in over the next 6-12 months.

So, I’m a Mummy, Wife and have a full time job so the quote “You can do anything but not everything!” seems to fit where I am at right now, but despite this top of my wish list is to be able to achieve the Stampin’ Up! Incentive trip however this just seems like something other people do! Therefore I have decided to spend this year stepping out of my comfort zone and focusing on my list of shorter term goals which are essentially about sharing my love of stamping with even more people and hopefully one day the incentive trip may just be possible!

So now on to the card I have to share with you all which is my entry to the Global Design Project #67. This weeks theme is ‘Trees’  I was going to create a Christmas tree card for this challenge but just ran out of time and wasn’t sure if I would have chance to get my entry up at all.

We were driving home the other evening and was inspired by the most beatiful sunset to make this card. The watercolour wash background is using Dapper Denim with Peekaboo Peach, once dry I have then stamped the tree over the top with Black Archival Ink.

Looking forward to sharing lots more with you throughout this year! Emma xx
