Global Design Project – Colour Challenge

In Global Design Project by Emma Goddard2 Comments

Hello!

Today I have been making use of some time whilst my son was at his Karate grading..I took along some pre-stamped backgrounds for colouring.  I have used the “A Little Lace” stamp with Memento Ink and fill the piece of Whisper White to create the background. This afternoon I have manage to find a little time to make this up into a completed card…

My chosen colour combo was inspired by the Global Design Project Colour Challenge…

Although the blends are not the exact colours (because there is no Terracotta Tile or Pear Pizzaz Blends) I have worked with the closest shades to them. I have used the Seaside Spray Combo, Cajun Craze Combo and the Light Old Olive Blends.

To make the Terracotta/Cajun Craze flowers POP, I have stamped out four more on a scrap piece of Whisper White (coloured with the blends) and then used the Medium Daisy Punch to cut these out! The small Seaside Spray flower was fussy cut.

The sentiment is also from the ‘A Little Lace’ Stamp Set. This has been embossed in White onto the Black Cardstock to make a really bold focal point of the card.

To complete the card and have added the gorgeous 2019-2021 In Colour Faceted Dots.
