Hey Pumpkin Challenge

In Autumn by Emma Goddard1 Comment

We are sharing a Hey Pumpkin challenge over at the Global Design Project #GDP314. It is certainly feeling more autumnal here and not long until the clocks go back!

For my ‘Hey Pumpkin’ inspired card I have combined the cute mini pumpkin from the Sparkle of the Season Bundle and the Measure of Love

All the supplies I have used to create this card is listed at the end of my blog post.

How to create this card…

Step 1: Score your Basic White card base & add a matt of white

Step 2: Use the Brick and Mortar Embossing folder to emboss the centre layer (13.5cm x 9cm)

Step 3: Stamp the scales and bowl in versamark on Cooper Foil and heat emboss with Copper powder – Cut these out with your snips and layer on to the front of the card. Stamp the scales a second time in versamark onto white and heat emboss with copper, cut out the measure & add this on to the front of the scales, with a couple of dimensionals.

Step 4: Die cut 11 pumpkins from watercolour card stock and colour some with Pumpkin Pie Ink and some with Grey Granite and a touch of Pool Party. Once dry I have stamps some of the texture from the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set over the top of the blue/grey pumpkins in Grey Granite Ink.

Step 5: Die cut both the large ‘Happy’ and background piece of this word in watercolour cardstock. then apply Real Red Ink to the ‘Happy’ and Sahara Sand ink to the background panel. Once dry, you can layer together with multipurpose glue.

Step 6: Layer your pumpkins on to the front of your card and into the scales with a mix of glue and dimensionals

Step 7: Stamp you ‘Best Wishes’ in Grey Granite. Cut out and add on the front with some mini dimensionals

Step 8: Add some of the Matte Decorative Dots [156289] to complete your card
