Colour Fusers Blog Hop – Sept 2025

Welcome to this month’s Colour Fusers Blog Hop!

This month, we’re working with an autumnal colour combination of Garden Green, Cajun Craze, and Basic Beige. Cajun Craze in particular is definitely a colour which I find myself reaching for more of then in the autumn months.

I started by heat embossing the image in copper and painting the image with Garden Green and Cajun Craze ink, whilst this was set aside to dry I create the background.

The intricate die cut is from the new Amber Autumn bundle and has been cut from Basic Beige. To add some colour and texture to this I have blended some Cajun Craze ink and then added a touch of Copper Embossing Powder to some of the sections.

The layer of Cajun Craze has been cut from the Two Tone cardstock, so when the edges have been distress is reveals the white core, and because the two tone cardstock is slightly thinner is makes it easier to distress.

The Stylish Shape 2 1/2″ Circle has been cut from Basic white and added on dimensionals for a little depth. The image and a water coloured leaf has also been added with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from a Christmas set ‘Peace on Earth’ but Sending Love is perfect for anytime of year!

To complete the card I have added some of the white and gold thread, linen thread and some copper sequins.
