This week we have an autumnal colour combination for you, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie.
This colour combination had me immediately reaching for the Etched Autumn Background Stamp, I firstly stamped out this background in each of the colours and then cut out a selection of leave from each.
The large embossed wreath was embossed into Crushed Curry cardstock and then swiped with Pecan Pie and Cajun Craze Ink pads to create the darker background with the pop of yellow leaves still peeking through.
Although I have covered up a lot of the wreath this background gave a great shape to be able to layer and create the half wreath.
Each of the leaves have been blended with the same colour of ink they have been stamped in, to create some extra shading and depth to them.
I really felt like this card was calling for some gold splatters, so for this I used some Windsor and Newton Gouache Gold Paint.
To complete the card I have added some adhesive backed metallic gems.
