Stampin’ Up! Artisan Blog Hop – Carry Over Event

In Artisan Blog Hops by Emma Goddard6 Comments

Welcome to the Artisan Blog Hop for May. For this month we are all sharing a HUGE variety of ideas and inspiration using a wide selection of carry over products. We also all have had different types of events in mind when we were design our projects so hopefully this will inspire you to hold similar events or take ideas from these to out your own twist on it

I have been using the Botanical Bliss Bundle & have loved this set and dies since it was first release but have not had a chance to play with it…. and Oh Boy! am I glad it is staying around for another year. I just love the sweet flowers and the delicate die cuts. The event I had in mind was my All Day Summer Event, this is whole day of crafting and the people who attend receive a box full of goodies for the projects during the event and plenty to take away from the day too.

I love designing for these days, because they are whole day events the projects can be a little more complex or just a little more of them!

The first project is this mini album. The mechanics of this album was cased from the super talented and all round lovely Susan Wong! I have stamped on the outside edge with flower from the Botanical Bliss set with Memento Black and coloured with the Light Petal Pink, Light Calypso Coral, Light Mint Macaron, Light Pineapple Punch and Pool Party Blends. The larger die cut flower was cut out in Whisper White and then also coloured with the blends to coordinate.

The inside was really showcasing the gorgeous Share what You Love papers & is all ready for adding some journalling or photos. If you would like to get you hands on the instructions for how to assemble this album then please pop over to Susan’s blog for the PDF

I have also designed a set of three coordinating cards making use of the same colours of blends (which were included in everyones goody boxes!) The base for all three cards is from Sahara Sand – I love this as a neutral colour and seem to be using it a lot at the moment.

The Sahara Sand pairs up beautifully with the Gold Glimmer and the Mint Macaron and Petal Pink. For the accessories I have used a small linen thread bow and the beautiful Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Here is a mini photo of what is in store for you, when you hop around see all the Ah-mazing ideas from the rest of the Artisan Team!

Next I am sending you on over to the fabulous Jackie Aitken – Click on this image below to move on to the next blog….
