Be Inspired – New In-Colors

This month the Be Inspired Team are sharing In-Color ideas to inspire you.

I have been eager to cut out this beautiful designer paper since it arrived with me! so my paper snips and this paper was the starting point for these cards. I cut out some of the flowers from each of the three papers and then started to think about the layout.

I have kept these cards pretty simple with the only layers on the card being those pretty flowers. The background were created with this brilliant background stamp. This background is a little different to previous large stamps that we have had. This is ‘pre-cut’ so you can either use all of the pieces together as one large background OR you can separate out each of the sections – genius!

I have taken three of the different patterns and stamped them in each of the In-Colours. First up is Strawberry Slush, the background piece was much thinner for this one, so I simply repeated the pattern and built up a larger section of background. Once stamped I added a little blending in the same ink colour over the bottom section of the card.

All of the cards have the large ‘Lovely’ as the focal sentiment. This has been stamped in Secret Sea Ink, bringing in another In-Colour to all of the cards.

Secret Sea has to be my most used In-Colour so far, and I think it will continue to be well used on my projects, it is a really great alternative to always reaching for Black.

For the final card, I have used the Darling Duckling Ink.
