Be Inspired – Ocean Fun

This month the Be Inspired Team are sharing Ocean Fun ideas to inspire you.

If you aren’t starting the Be Inspired Blog Hop here, then you have probably just popped over from my friend Brian King. All the links for the Blog Hop are at the end of my post, so you can click on the each of these links and see all our Be Inspired projects.

I started my card with the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set and then took a look through my DSP for some Ocean Inspired patterns. The paper I ended up using is from a brand new suite called Beautiful Gallery Suite Collection, it will be available on the 6th May and will feature on page 55 of the new Annual Catalogue. It is not a pack of paper you might immediately think of when you think of seaside or ocean themed cards, but this particular piece has a beautiful ombre effect with the new Secret Sea.

Once I had chosen this piece of paper, it was very quick to pull the rest of the card together stamping the Sand Dollars in Secret Sea Ink and the Starfish in Gray Granite.

I was going to stick to the Sand Dollars and Starfish but it needed a little something extra, so the Crab from Ocean Friends made an appearance too.
