Be Inspired – Spring

In Stampin' Up! by Emma Goddard2 Comments

This month the Be Inspired Team are sharing Spring ideas to inspire you.

If you aren’t starting the Be Inspired Blog Hop here, then you have probably just popped over from my friend Brian King.

We have recently been having some beautiful weather here in the UK and we have been able to enjoy some time out in the garden. We have had a helping hand in getting the garden ‘summer ready’ which has meant I have been able to do the bit I enjoy…. Buying plants!

There is nothing I love more than a good browse around a garden centre and ‘maybe’ a small purchase of pretty plants to add a pop of colour to our garden. I am the first to admit that I am not the best at keeping plants all year round or even for part of the year ;)… but I am pleased to report that so far so good this year, the plants I have purchased are blooming!

For my Spring project, I was inspired by the colourful pots I have out in my garden and the best thing about this card is that I don’t need to remember to water it lol.

The background on this card was some simple blending with a touch of Pool Party Ink and some splatters from a Light Summer Splash Stampin’ Blend.

Colour Inspiration

This card is a mix of stamp set, I have used ‘Storybook Garden Patch’ for the pots and then filled it with flowers from ‘Blooming Phrases’ This is a new set which will be available from the 6th May.

As much as I love the sentiments in this stamp set, I wanted something with a block type font. So I reached for More Messages, this is a stamp set you are going to want to be sure you have in your basket. It is jam packed full of so many great messages and they all cut out in one go with a single die! So cool.

I am now sending you on over to the lovely & super talented Angela Meiritz-Reid.

Simply click on the button below to hop on over to her blog and follow the hop around to see everyones creations – Enjoy!

If you have a long wish list, then I would highly recommend taking a look at what the starter kit can offer you

  1. Such a beautiful card, Emma – but what’s new? I love that you built a gorgeous arrangement from the small flowers in this set. Spring is definitely in the air!
