This month the colour fusers are sharing inspiration using Misty Moonlight, Melon Mambo & Shaded Spruce. I have to say this was a tricky combination when I first look at them I really wasn’t sure what stamp set I was going to work with.
I had already coloured some Hibiscus in Melon Mambo so this was then my starting point and I have to say the combination really grew on me.

The background is a little Sneak Peek to a new stamp set called ‘Elements of Text‘ that is coming in the new year…it is going to be a must have!
The flowers and leaves were stamped with Staz-On onto watercolour card. I then added an outline with the Stampin’ Write Markers and blended this out with the water painter. The background and sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight, the sentiment was a combination of the Greetings of the Season and Everyday Greetings.
The Shaded Spruce ribbon is 1/2″ wide, so I decided to cut it in half down the length of the ribbon to make this thinner and a little lighter on this card. The card was completed with some sequins from the Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio and a few splatters of the Misty Moonlight Blend.

I am now sending you on over to fabulous Heather Thomas (aka The Songbird Stamper) who I know will have a wonderful card in store for you! You can use the links at the end of everyone’s blog posts to hop around to see all of the colour inspiration – Enjoy!
