Happy Monday! Today I am sharing my card inspired by the NEW Global Design Project Challenge for this week. The theme is ‘Birthday’ and would love you to join us in sharing your birthday inspired cards too.

Challenges are such a great place to start with a spark of colour, theme or layout to get you started. You can share a link to your card on the Global Design Project Blog HERE or use the hashtag #GDP291 on your social media posts
This rainbow of cakes has been created using the Party Puffins Stamp Set. I have stamped out 9 of the cakes in Memento Ink and colours with blends

The colours from left to right are; Dark So Saffron, Dark Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Light Flirty Flamingo, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Granny Apple Green, Dark Granny Apple Green, Light Bermuda Bay, & Dark Bermuda Bay
Once all coloured I have cut out all of the cakes
The paper is from the Hostess Pattern Party Designer Series Paper. If you’d like to get your hands on this paper, you can either be the host of and party (online) or be your own hostess and purchase the qualifying amount of product. Please feel free to contact me for more details.

For the embellishments and finishing touches I have used some white twine, in-colour jewels and some Shimmery Crystal effects to make the icing glossy!

Be sure to check out the Global Design Project Blog to see all of the Design Teams projects for even more inspiration!
We would love you to join in with this challenge! If you have a card or project you would like to share inspired by this theme then you can enter you link over on the Global Design Project Blog. Check out the Global Design Project Blog for projects and details on how to play along with us. If you make a project be sure to tag your project #GDP291 so we can see your work!
