Welcome to this month’s Colour Fusers Blog Hop!
Our colour combination for April 2026 is: Secret Sea, Shy Shamrock and Petal Pink. To start I pulled a sheet of each of the cardstock from my stash which prompted the idea to create the small stripes of colour and then look for a focal image.
The Natural Botanicals will be leaving and is currently on the last chance list here in the UK for only £10.50 (original RRP £21) A bargain for a great stamp set!
I have used the largest image from this set and stamped it out in Shy Shamrock Ink, the next step was to clean the stamp and then turn it over and use the reverse of the image. Whilst this doesn’t line up to the outline of the image, it does create a more abstract infill of the leaf, and is also a very quick way to colour it in.
To make sure the ink infill was not too dark, I firstly stamped off on to a scrap of paper and used the second generation of ink. Once these were stamped out, twice, I cut them out with my scissors ready to add to the front.
Whilst away at the recent OnsTage event I was lucky to come home with a bundle of ephemera, the sentiment I have used is from the new Sincerely Noted Mix and Match Ephemera Pack [167706] which will be available on the 5th May in the new May-Aug Catalogue.
