Keeping a card a little more simple can definitely still have a wow effect. I know I can often find myself really over thinking a card, especially if it is for specially occasion. There are times when you want to add all the bells and whistles, but sometime just using the stamps as they are with some simple colouring (and a little sparkle!) is all you need.
How I Created This Card
Initially I thought I was going to keep this as one layer card, but as I was colouring in the images I decided I wanted to cut them out and pop them up with a few dimensionals for a little depth. I also added a small touch of Pool Party ink to the background with a blending brush to add something subtle to the background.
I have coloured the image with watercolour pencils, adding some darker colour to toward the centre of the flowers and using the Wink of Stella to blend out the colour and add some subtle sparkle to the card.
To complete the card I added some simple Rhinestones for some extra sparkle!
