Welcome to the August Artisan Blog Hop. This month we are sharing the Peace & Joy Bundle. This bundle is so cool! I just love the large font dies and stamps. They are just fabulous all on there own but I can imagine how beautifully they will also pair up with other sets too.
I have created a trio of cards, the first cards on the left is using only the Stamp Set, the long middle card using a mix of both the stamps and dies and the shaker card on the right using only the dies.
This first card was created by firstly heat embossing the word ‘Bright’ in white powder and then running this through the Cut & Emboss machine to emboss with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. Once embossed I have added the Crumb Cake ink with a dauber to highlight the word and make this pop off the paper.
I love how you can still see the snowflake embossing through the word
Next up is this tall card which uses all the words – I love them all and couldn’t pick! LOL. I also pulled out my sewing machine to add a little more texture too down the sides of the card.
For the final card I have made this in to a shaker. The sequins are from the Sequins for Everything pack – this pack of sequins is literally brimming with SO many sequins you can use them on everything
The ‘&’ between the Peace and Joy is not a separate die in this set it has been cut out from the ‘e’ from the word Peace – I love look at alternative ways to use our words and dies to piece together alternative options. This can really stretch the use of them so much further than the original intention
I hope you have enjoy and feeling inspired to have a go at making some cards using this bundle.
I am now sending you on over to the wonderful Helene, be sure to hop on all the way around the Artisan Design Team as they have so much inspiration and fabulous ideas to share with you all – Enjoy!
