Broadway Birthday – Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hooray for this awesome suite! Today we are back for another Artisan blog hop and this month we are showcasing this amazing Broadway Bound Suite.

You may have hopped on over from my friend and amazingly talented Elizabeth Price over in the USA or joined with me, either way a very warm welcome.

The paper in this suite comes with two very different sides with the bright Lemon Lime Twist & Lovely Lipstick and the other side which are all Gold Foils – both mixed with the Grey Granite and Basic Black. Just perfect for a P-A-R-T-Y!

I have made this card & cupcake toppers for my son who turns 9 in August!  …the cakes were made to test run the toppers and nearly didn’t make it for the photos…..let alone until August lol …fresh cakes will of course be make for the special day! but these toppers are ready to roll!

The card is the width of A4 (21cm) x 20cm & I have scored in half at 10cm for a longer and larger card than a normal. This longer card allows from the full strip of numbers from the DSP to fit across the card. I have then cut out the candles from more of the DSP and added these randomly across the card. This large ‘Wish’ is a die & I have cut this twice, once in the Basic Black and once in the Gold Glimmer for the sparkly shadow.

For the cupcake toppers I have cut the frame die in gold foil and placed this on to the whisper white and fussy cut around the outside edge for the white background piece.

The ‘Hooray’ stamped in Memento black and the small gold dots are in the stamp set. I have stamped these in versamark and embossed in gold. The same with the ‘Let’s Celebrate’ this has been stamped in versamark and embossing in gold on the basic black card stock. The DSP has paper with the numbers 0-9 so you are all set for any occasion! I have cut out the number 9 and added these to the cupcake toppers along with the balloons. The colours I used for the balloons are Call me Clover, Lovely Lipstick & Blueberry Bushel, all from the In Colours 2018-2020.

I have simply used a circle punch out of whisper white to cover the stick on the back and hold this in place.

I have also made a 30th Birthday card and cupcake topper for my friend, which I will share with you tomorrow, so be sure to check back!

Now on to the super talented Jennifer Pauli  who I know has a treat in store for you.
