Hello! I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Be Inspired Design Team and hop with this group super talented group of demonstrators. All of whom I have loved to stalk …..ummmm I mean follow LOL for a long time now. Thank you SO much to the whole team for inviting me to join them. The Be Inspired Hop goes live on the last Wed of each month.

This months theme is Sale-A-Bration! This is such a fabulous time of year in the Stampin’ Up! calendar and is getting even better ….if that is even possible?!…with the addition of the Sale-A-Bration Coordination Promotion starting on the 1st of March. This is 6 new coordinating products which you can purchase and then add even more lovely freebies into your basket!

My card is using the Call Me Cupcake Dies and the Hello Cupcake Stamp Set. I’m not sure it is very clear from the photos of my card but the background is using the Hexagons Embossing Folder, I thought this was the perfect combo with this cute bee. (From the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set)

The card was inspired from a cute cupcake I found on Pinterest – I did try to find the person to credit but photo wasn’t taking me anywhere….however thanks to original person who posted this…feeling inspired!

The cupcake stand is in Early Espresso Cardstock and the dome has been cut twice – once in Whisper White and a top layer using the the Window Sheets …the Cupcake is sandwiched in between

To achieve the smoother look my cupcake, I have firstly stamped very lightly in Mango Melody Ink (stamping off first on a scrap piece of paper) and then coloured the image with the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. I have done the same with the cupcake case, stamping in Crumb Cake Ink and then colouring with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.

The splatters are a mix of the Frost White Ink with the Crushed Curry refill, picked up with the Aqua Painter and tapped over the top of the card. To finished the card I have added some Happiness Enamel Dots, which have been coloured with the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends to coordinate.

I hope you are feeling inspired to give this a go, be sure to hop on around to all the the Be Inspired team to see what Sale-A-Bration inspiration they have in store for you today – Enjoy!
