This month, the Be Inspired Team is sharing creative card-making ideas inspired by the theme “Clean and Simple.” Clean and Simple card designs are perfect for quick makes, beginners, and anyone who loves lots of white space with just a few thoughtful details.

If you didn’t start the Be Inspired Blog Hop here, you may have arrived from the lovely Brian King. You’ll find links to all the talented Be Inspired designers at the end of this post, so you can hop along and enjoy a wide range of Clean and Simple card ideas.

Anyone who knows me and my crafting style, they might be surprised to see me tackling Clean and Simple card making! While my designs are usually quite clean, I do love using multiple techniques. Those who join my live crafting videos affectionately call this style “Emma Simple.”

For this card, I focused on white space and added just a soft touch of Pool Party ink. This layout, combined with gentle ink blending, is one of my favourite go-to Clean and Simple card designs, especially when I need a quick handmade.

The cute bunny image was stamped using Memento ink and coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Once coloured, I fussy cut the bunny using snips to keep the tools simple and accessible, ideal for beginners. That said, this stamp set also has coordinating dies and the most adorable Easter basket, which makes it even more versatile.

Even if you’re completely new to card making, I truly believe rhinestones are a fantastic staple to add to your craft collection. A simple silver rhinestone works beautifully on almost any card or paper craft project and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little sparkle?
