My background was created using a ‘Smooching’ Technique and the layout was cased from the recent online Demonstrator Event (Creativity Now). This ink smooching is really fun and I love that you get different results every time!
The background is created by scribbling out some colour from the Stampin’ Write Marker onto a block (I used an E-Block), spritz with water and then dab with a window sheet to pick up the colour. the next step is to lay the window sheet down onto your Basic White card to create a random inky smooch of colour.
The Painterly Pears Suite Collection [166159] will be available on the 1st July 2025. The whole suite is really lovely, but my top pick from this suite is the ribbon. It is a stunning mix of Gold and Mossy Meadow, and whilst is ‘Pears’ beautifully with this suite, I think this will be a fabulous ribbon for Christmas Crafting too.
