I made this card on last Sunday’s FB Live, I wanted to make a more of a recent card…I also thought it would also be perfect for congratulating someone on passing their driving test? …Although that being said, I know I wasn’t driving around in a car like this after passing my test lol
For the background I have used the (very cool!) cogs from the coordinating dies with the Big Shot Embossing Mat. This embossing mat is a fabulous way to get even better value for money from all of your dies! To keep the more muted tones, I have then stamped the car on to Sahara Sand with Memento ink. I have used Memento ink as I have coloured with the blends (using Poppy Parade, Pineapple Punch and Smoky Slate)

Oh i love your car card! No, i don’t think any of us had a car like that when we first got our driving licence, lol. Congrats on being selected for the artisan design team btw. I applied for it but missed out. Ah well, lol.
Such a beautiful card Emma. I love all the tones used so that the car is still the star of the show and you are right, everyone should have the embossing mat in their craft stash. It’s a much have!

My boy is wanting a car to drive just like this one… suped up, of course (can’t believe he’s already talking about wanting to drive this spring!)! Love how you embossed the gears/cogs for the background… and the roughed up/sponged edges were the perfect touch, too. Thanks for the inspiration as always… xx
