Boxing Day – Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop

In Spring/Summer Catalogue by Emma Goddard7 Comments

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Stampin’ Creative Boxing Day Blog Hop, hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas.

If you’ve joined me here from Caroline’s blog I know she will have created something lovely, however if you have missed anyone, I have listed everyone taking part below.

This is our last Stampin’ Creative blog hop of 2015, and would like to take this chance to say thank you for being able to be a part of such a lovely and supportive group of ladies…here’s to 2016!

So today I am sharing a new stamp set ‘Friends and Flowers’ this was a must have as soon as I saw it in the NEW catalogue as this fits with the Festive Flower Builder Punch which you may already have too? I loved this punch and the set in the Autumn/Winter Catalogue for making Poinsettias so was excited to see a fresh stamp set for Spring/Summer and excited to make different flowers.

I know it seems a little early / not yet in season for Daffodils but I have seen in bloom in gardens already which seems crazy!? but that being it did inspire me to make some of my own.

Close Up

I have stamped the petals in Crushed Curry ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock. The larger daffodils are 6 large petals with 4 medium petals in the centre, I had to use a hot glue gun to make them stand up in the centre. I have then used a dauber with crushed curry on the edges.

The small daffodils are 6 medium petals and then 2 of the smallest double petals for the centre, again they have been inked on the edge with crushed curry ink.

The leaves are long thin stripes of pear pizzazz and old olive cardstock, cut free hand/rough cut.
