Breathtaking Bouquet

This evening I am sharing some cards using the beautiful Breathtaking Bouquet Stamp Set.

This first card was made for my friend Lisa, who’s birthday is on the 1st of Jan – so always my first card of the new year. Her favourite colours are the Teal tones …Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay are top of her list. I have stamped this in Versamark (on to watercolour paper) and embossed in Gold. I have then  coloured in the flowers using the Aqua Painter with the Coastal Cabana Ink. This has been layered on to Bermuda Bay Cardstock.

This next card was cased from the Catalogue. All the samples on this page are lovely, but I LOVE the card on the bottom left of this page and just had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it!

I have embossed in Copper and coloured with the same colours as the sample… the colours are not listed in the Catalogue so I have taken a guess at Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Pretty Peacock Inks. Once dry, I have added this to a Whisper White card base.

The centre section of my card is made up from a 2cm x 9cm strip of Copper Foil – cut in at either end with the Triple Banner Punch to create the fish tails. I have added on the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Layered with Kindness Stamp Set. To coordinate this with the background, I have also embossed this in Copper – this has been punch out with the new Label Me Lovely Punch (gotta love a punch!!!). To create the pop of Pretty Peacock behind, I have punched out the label in the cardstock and cut in half to allow it to peek out from the top and bottom.

What girl doesn’t love a handbag??!

I have created a handbag to coordinate with the birthday card. The bag has been made up in Lovely Lipstick Cardstock using the All Dressed Up Dies. To create the front panel, I have run the die through with some watercolour paper and cut out just the front section (following the fold lines). This has then been embossed and coloured the same way as the card.

The buckles are cut from the Copper Foil and the tags are punched out using the Label Me Fancy Punch. To complete both the card & the bag I have tied a bow in the Polka Dot Tulle and added this to the front with a glue dot.
