Colour Fusers Blog Hop – Sept 2024

For the Sept 2024 Color Fusers Blog Hop our colour inspiration is Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie.

I started out my card with the wide Crushed Curry stripes of card stock on the Basic White layer. I then cut out several of the leaves in all the combination of colours and also Heat Embossed the larger leaf in Gold. Once I had a selection of leaves, I then played around with a combination of leaves that I liked together.

The Gold Heat Embossed leaf is on Basic White cardstock and I have then blended over the top with Crushed Curry and Pecan Pie. The Pecan Pie Ink had been added just to the edges of the embossed leaf for a subtle touch of this colour.

I gather three of the large leafs together and added a linen thread bow to the top, to make them look like they have been tied together. They have been adhered to the front of the card with a few dimensionals for extra depth.

I completed the card with some splatters of Crumb Cake and a few Gold Metallic Gems
