Dashing Along

Today the Artisan Design Team are sharing with you ideas and inspiration for the Dashing Along Promotion.

This Dashing Along Designer Series Paper is exclusive to this September host promotion and will not be available after 30 September. If you host an workshop or event and you reach the qualifying sales of £200 then you will receive a pack of this paper in addition to your hostess rewards (even more goodies!!).

I have created a card and home decor piece, depending on your set up I could see this hanging over the middle of your dinning table or simply as a wall or window hanger. So first up is my card and for this I have teamed up the promotional papers with the new Buffalo Check Stamp. I have added a very simple panel down the front of the card and then added the Stitched Circle of Crumb Cake Cardstock. This has been embossed with the Corrugated Dynamic Embossing Folder. I have cut 3 of the Deer in Crumb Cake and once in the Wooden DSP and layered this together for a wooded look.

To complete the card I have added some of the Linen Thread and Santa’s Workshop Enamel Shapes.

For this home decor piece I collected the sticks and pinecones out on a walk and have uses a copper spray paint from a local craft store. Once fully dry, I have then sponged on some of the Frost White Shimmer Paint onto the sticks and cones.

The sticks have been tied together with the Braided Linen Thread (LOVE this!!), ready to decorate with any bits and bobs! I have cut out more of the coordinating Deer in the Wooden DSP and Crumb Cake Cardstock and the paper and layered together to make the handing decorations. The DSP paper orniments are very simple to make from stripes of DSP rolled in to different size circles which have been layered together and then squeezed in to the droplet shape.
