Hello,
Today I am sharing 2 of the 4 cards from my first class in April-16. The focus for this class was the fabulous set ‘Grateful Bunch’ and bright colours! I will be back tomorrow with the final 2 cards from this class so be sure to pop back.
So what do you think of this colour combo? I just love how these colours POP!
This first card was cased from one I spotted on Pinterest and just LOVED the colours! You can see the original card here
I have firstly used the embossing buddy over the card stock before stamping the flowers in Versamark to be able then heat emboss in the white powder. Once this step was complete I have then stamped the flower on a post-it note and cut out to create a mask. This was placed over the flowers to stamp the leaves (from Summer Silhouettes) in Basic Gray.
I have then used the Cucumber Crush DSP, cut to 2-1/4″ x 10cm…..I know, sorry!! I have a strange habit of mixing centimetres & inches together – does anyone else do this or is it just me?
The sentiment is from the set tag talks and punched out using label bracket. I have then punched another label bracket in Cucumber Crush and cut in half to add a border around this image, which is a great way to get even more from your punches.
This is my second card using mainly the gorgeous butterfly from the Grateful Bunch set. The layer of cucumber crush is using the envelope paper which is great when you don’t want to much extra bulk with your layers or in my case when you don’t have enough of this colour cardstock and need to add this to your next order!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you like these makes – Emma
