Hello There

Have you checked out the fabulous Memories & More packs?  I think they are just awesome, not only for memory keeping but for your cards and other projects too.

For the cards I am sharing today I have chosen to use the more masculine Best Route Memories and More Card Pack (#147036) with the very pretty Beautiful Promenade Bundle (#148389) for some fun bright and bold cards.

The first step was to cut the layer of Basic Black Cardstock (#121688) to 9.8cm x 14.3cm. I have then stamped the flower from the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set (#146842) in Versamark (#102283) on opposite corners of each card. I have then heat embossed these using the black Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#146956) and Heat Tool (UK plug #129054, EU plug #129055).

I chose two cards with bright and bold sentiments and the feature of my cards from the Best Route Memories and More Card Pack (#147036). Before sticking them to them the card front I have firstly added a little extra detail!

The diamonds from the Beautiful Promenade Stamp Set make a great background. This has been stamped randomly over the fronts in coordinating ink colours. I have used both Pineapple Punch Classic Stampin’ Pad (#147141) and the Mango Melody Classic Stampin’ Pad (#147093). The next step was to die cut some additional detailing using the diamond and circle die a couple of times on each card.

They have then been glued directly to the front of both cards ready for the flowers to be added.

The flowers and leaves (6 flowers and 10 leaves) were stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock (#106549) with the Memento Pad (#132708) and coloured using the Pineapple Punch (#147280), Pumpkin Pie (#144599), Lovely Lipstick (#147281) and Granny Apple Green (#147274) Combo Packs of blends. Once coloured I have added the lined flower stamp over the top of the coloured image for even more detail, and this has been stamped in the coordinating ink colours.

The flower and leaf have a coordinating die making it very easy to cut them out and layer onto the bottom right hand corner of each card. To do this I have use Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755) to adhere the Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick flowers and used Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430) to raise up the Pumpkin Pie flower. To complete the card have added a few black sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment (#144214)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog & hope you feel inspired to make some bright and bold cards of your own – enjoy!
