Hello,
Welcome to this weeks Inspire.Create challenge, this time around we are back with another sketch. I particularly like a sketch challenge as any stamp set & colour goes!
I have chosen to focus on the Charming Cafe set, this is one that I am not sure ‘jumps’ out of the catalogue but I really love all the elements and different ways you can change up using the dies. I have added the Stampin’ Up! video towards the end of this post. This video show you all the different combinations you can achieve with this set and dies.
This week we are using this sketch/layout to inspire us. If you’d like to join in and use this sketch as inspiration for one of your designs then be sure to share with us at the Inspire.Create challenge blog, we’d love to see what you have been making. You can find the Inspire.Create blog here.
As you can see I have used the frame to create the circle layout and added the cafe elements to the centre. Anyone who knows me, knows I love my coffee! and the idea of sitting in a little cafe on a cobbled street drinking coffee with a friend is my idea of perfection!
The paper is from the Sweet Soiree Designer Series Paper (DSP on Pg 13) which has some beautiful silver foil accents throughout it. This piece of DSP is cut to 7cm x 10.5cm, with a Whisper White panel 6cm x 14.9cm over the top, going the full length of the card 6cm x 14.9cm
The window has been stamped and coloured (with blends) on this Whisper White panel, the chairs and frame have been stamped and die cut out separately and layered on top with dimensionals. (No fussy cutting required! all dies cuts)
This was finished off with a little thanks stamped in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake card stock and hand cut into the banner shape. I have punch a small hole and ties on with a little bow.
Check out this video with Brandy to see these dies and stamps in more detail.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a good week

A beautiful creation, and one of the lovliest I have seen using the Charming Café Bundle. I love how the Stampin’ Up! mug is perfectly coordinated too. D xox
Thank you lovely! Totally inspired by the catalogue xo
