Inspire.Create Sketch Challenge #014

In Easter, Stampin' Up! by Emma Goddard5 Comments

Hello and welcome to Inspire.Create challenge number 014 & this time we are sharing a sketch. I just love how a sketch can turn out so different I can not wait to see what creations everyone comes up with. If you’d like to join in the fun you can find us over at the Inspire.Create Challenge blog where you can share you take on this sketch. You can find us HERE

I have used Happy Wishes Stamp Set which you can get your hands on with a £90 up until the end of March, this comes with SO many combinations of sentiments, but for this card I have used the ‘Easter’ from the Hello Easter Stamp Set to create this card. The Happy and Easter have both been stamped in Archival Black, and to add colour to the flowers of the word ‘Happy’ I have used the flowers and leaves from the Hello Easter Set. I have stamped over the top in Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist for the leaves. Although not an exact match for the flowers, it add a touch of colour very quickly!

The heart is cut from Vellum using the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. I have stamped this sweet bunny in Crumb Cake and leaves in Lemon Lime twist and they have all been cut out by hand and layered onto the heart with a touch of metallic silver thread for some added texture. Behind the heart is a layer of the Shimmer Ribbon Pack (this trio of ribbons are free with a £45 spend during Sale-A-Bration), and although not exactly the same colour as the flowers, I liked the look with the Flirty Flamingo ink.

The lovely crumb cake patterned paper is from the Tutti Frutti 6″x6″ designer series papers (DSP), which have some bright and bold patterns which team up with SO many other stamp sets and not just the Fruit Basket Set. Underneath this DSP I have added a touch of gold glimmer to finish off the card.

Thats all from me for today, have a fabulous rest of your week and I shall be back towards the weekend to share some more Easter / Spring cards last weeks Facebook live.
