On Sunday I created these two cards on my live using the Sea Turtle Stamp Set.
The first card was this fancy fold and I have shared the measurements of the card base below for you, so you can re-create this and decorate with any supplies you have.
These scores and cuts will work on either A4 or Letter size cardstock, you will just start with a slightly different size of card stock to start with. By doing this it means you can get two of these cards from your cardstock regardless of whether you are using A4 or Letter.
Starting Cardstock Size
- A4 = 5 13/16″ (or 14.8cm) x 8″ (20.3cm)
- Letter = 5 1/2″ x 8″
This is the second card and using an Alcohol blending technique, you will need a very strong Alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol | Isopropanol 99.9%), and you will need to work on this card in a well ventilated space.
This technique is a lot of fun and you are never going to get two backgrounds the same. To see how this was created, you will be able to watch the YouTube video below.
The Sea Turtle Stamp Set is gorgeous, but is a stand alone stamp set and doesn’t’ have any coordinating dies. So I have used the Textured Floral Dies, a floral die set might not be what you may originally search for, but I thought the foliage in this set worked really well to create some seaweed to compliment these images.
