Hi – Hope you are all doing ok?
Today I am sharing two cards that are inspired by Rainbows, the symbol of hope associated with the current situation we all find ourself faced with and this weeks current TGIF challenge (also a rainbow theme)
The ink colours I have used are; Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Terracotta Tile, Real Red, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay, & Rich Razzleberry
The inky technique to colour the butterflies was inspired by my lovely friend and upline Kim Fee, who shared this fab technique at a recent team training and again on one of her Facebook lives. You can check out the cards Kim made over on her blog HERE
The ink is watered down and then tapped on to the Whisper White card using a glove to save your fingers from also becoming a rainbow of colour! This is so fun and easy to apply the colour – The replay of this Facebook live is shared at the bottom of this post.
I the same colours I had used to tap out the butterflies were left on my blocks, so I used up all the ink on this watercolour background.
The sentiment is in the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set along with this adorable Butterfly! This has been inked in versamark and heat embossed with white powder to really make this pop on the black cardstock.
You can watch both these cards being made here. If you have enjoyed this video, and would like to see more from me then I love you to subscribe to my You Tube Channel.

Wow, these are absolutely gorgeous cards Emma! so bright and cheery! I love both these techniques and really enjoyed your video. Thanks for joining TGIF Challenges this week!
Thanks so much Tami – I had so much fun with this theme! I loved having all the colours out on my desk – thanks for the inspiration xo
I was inspired by this and used the technique to make a piece of wall art.
Sadly it won’t let me add a photograph of the end result.
Thank you for the idea.
