Stampin’ Creative – Sneak Peek

In Stampin' Creative by Emma Goddard12 Comments

Welcome to the last Stampin’ Creative blog hop for 2018 – what a fabulous year it has been – Thank you to everyone who has followed along with us and to everyone who has joined us as a guest designers during the year. You have all been amazing!

Today we are all sharing a little sneak peek of the upcoming Spring/Summer Catalogue so I am excited to grab a coffee and hop on around too and see what sets everyone has chosen to use. I have been using the All That You Are Stamp Set and have more coming with this pretty stamp set to share with you over this week.

I started by picking out some of the new Gingham Gala 6″x6″ papers in a selection of colours, this was my starting point for designing the 3 cards, and today I am sharing the first of these three cards which uses the Highland Heather.

The base of the card is in Highland Heather cardstock with a piece of Whisper White which has been embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing folder. The image has been stamped in versamark and embossed in white powder onto Shimmery White cardstock. This has been coloured using the Aqua Painter and Highland Heather and Pear Pizzaz Inks. Once dry the image has been cut away on the top and left hand edge and mounted onto the Highland Heather cardstock.

This has been embellished with a peek of the gingham paper, the cute paper clip from the Share What You Love Embellishment kit and a bow using the Old Olive Linen Thread. To complete the card I have added a few of the pretty Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Be sure to hop on around all the the Stampin’ Creative Design Team and Guests! Have a great weekend whatever you may be up to, and I’ll be back tomorrow with another card using this same stamp set.

    1. Thanks Pip – I am so pleased this embossing folder is sticking around, its a fav!

    1. Thank you Kim Mmmwa xx The embossing with the watercolouring makes it easier to add to drop in the colour with the aqua painters x

    1. Thank you Caro – I love the effect too, it’s a fun technique for colouring xo

  1. oh my goodness I LOVE your card , what you have done is so clever ! Partially cutting around the stamped image gives it such a different dimension.

  2. My thoughts entirely Gina, I too love how Emma has partially cut around the image, leaving one side of the sentiment panel with straight angles and the other side as the flower. Beautifully teams with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder too. Love this card xx
