This is my last Corporate Blog Post as a part of the Artisan Design Team 2019, however I am delighted to have been selected to be back within the 2020 Artisan Design Team and can’t wait to share lots with you again over this coming year.
This post is a little late going out…I found it hiding in my drafts! ….But still want to make sure I shared these with you all!
I have created a couple of cards and a coordinating mini treat box using Copper Foil (142020), Whisper White Cardstock (#106549) and Gray Granite Cardstock (147008) as the colour combination for this collection of projects.
The plaid and striped backgrounds are using the Tiny Keepsake Stamp Set (#150460). To create the larger background, I have simply stamped them twice and added them together on a layer of Whisper White Cardstock. They have been stamped in Versamark (102193) and heat embossed with the Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#141636) using the Heat Tool (#129055).
The copper pairs up so beautifully with the Gray Granite and bring out the warmer tones from the cardstock.
The card bases are half a sheet of A4, folded at 14.8cm and the front layer measures 14.5cm x 10.2cm. Both the Solid Baker’s Twine in Whisper White (124262) and the Linen Thread (104199) have been wrapped around this Grey Granite Top layer and tied into a box on the side.
Both the ‘Merry’ & ‘Holidays’ words are die cut in the Copper Foil using the Merry Christmas dies (#147912). I have used the words as the centre point for the card and layered pine branches and cones behind.
The Whisper White branches and pine cones are all die cut from the Beautiful Boughs Dies (150661), however I wanted to also include the details from the beautiful stamped image too, so I have heat embossed these in the copper powder and cut out these images with Paper Snips (103579)
To complete the set, I couldn’t resist making a coordinating tiny treat box using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies (150644). This was cut from a half sheet of Gray Granite Cardstock and embossed with the plaid pattern from the Tiny Keepsake Stamp Set (150460) before it was assembled – so quick and easy to make for a really cute table gift.
