Hi all,
Today I back sharing a similar technique to yesterdays card, but for this version I am using the watercolour pencils. This is a really fun technique using the punch to create a stencil with your watercolour pencils for some bold backgrounds.
I have punched the shape from some thick whisper white cardstock and used the watercolour pencils in various colours to draw inside the stencil onto watercolour cardstock. Once you have your lines I have then take the aqua painter to use this line to watercolour in the middle of each shape. For this card I have use Melon Mambo, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay.
I have then added some of the Pick a Pattern washi tape and a new Tinted Faceted Button with the Basic Black Solid Bakers Twine (the twine is an essential in my craft stash!) I have then used the ‘A note for you’ sentiment from the Wood Words Stamp Set and embossed this in white on the black.
Thanks for stopping by – Emma xo
