In Masculine Cards by Emma Goddard1 Comment

Hello and welcome to the All Star Design Team blog hop, plus all the information on the fabulous Video Class Bundle.

What is the Video Class Bundle?

This is a collaboration of 12 amazing demonstrator who provide you with EXCLUSIVE video tutorials. We focus on a different suite each month providing you with loads and loads of inspiration. You will also receive a PDF with measurements in both metric and imperial, with a list of all products used.

Plus at the start of each month the Tutorial team will share a blog hop (just like this one!) which will be using the products featured in the bundles each month but sharing different cards and projects to those featured in the bundle. All the projects in the Tutorials are EXCLUSIVE and not shared anywhere online.

The layout is super simple and a great way to show of designer paper. The layers have been glues together and the stamped images have been popped up on dimensionals.

Measurements

  • Card base is 29.7cm x 10.5cm, scored at 14.8cm
  • Night of Navy layer 14.5cm x 10.2cm
  • Panels of designer paper are cut to 9.8cm x 8mm (x5 pieces)
  • Basic White measures 14.2cm x 9.8cm.

When I was designing this card, I started out by colouring the plane, however, I wanted to image to fit more with the paper and only be the outline. So I re-stamped it in Night of Navy on the Basic White and was really happy with how the simple version coordinated so perfectly with the paper. Sometimes less is more.

The clouds were stamped in second generation Balmy Blue Ink and the sentiment in coordinating Night of Navy Ink. I have completed the card with some of the Basic Gray and Smoky Slate Pearls.

Enjoy the rest of the blog hop and all of the fabulous ideas from the All Star Design Team.
