How to create Beach Huts

In Beach by Emma GoddardLeave a Comment

We have a new sketch this week for the Global Design Project Challenge. Sketches are such a great starting point for your projects. For my card I have turned the sketch upside down and placed the surf boards where the banner would be on this layout.

I have masked the County Birdhouse Stamp to ‘remove’ the two holes on the front and the flower box at the bottom of the house, to leave only the house shape.

I have then stamped on the bunting form the Filled with Fun Stamp Set.

Once the bunting was in place I was able to take a Stampin’ Write Marker with a ruler and add in the lines to create a wooden effect.

The Surf Boards, Grass and Seagulls were all from the Beach Days Stamp Set. The colour on the surf boards was created by stamping them out onto the Full of Life DSP, once stamped out, I cut them out with my snips. One was glued flat and the top board was popped up with a couple of dimensionals.
