Trio of Butterflies

Happy Sunday! On Friday I had the privilege of creating these Trio of Butterflies for a live demonstration within our UK Demonstrator Group. I loved sharing with all the demonstrators and wanted to share the creations with you too!

This Trio of Butterflies uses all of the Butterflies from the stamped image

A trio of cards using bright and bold colours and the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle.

Not only do the dies in this bundle cut the outline of the Butterflies but it also cuts the intricate layers too. Plus as you can see from the image above you also have the tiny butterflies and the texture dies which I love!

The frames are cut from the largest and second largest of the Stitched Shape Dies on Gold Foil, and as you can see I have used each of the shapes from this dies set.

Card 1

These first two butterflies are coloured with the Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Blends and I have simply alternated the colours. Starting with the darker Pumpkin Pie in the centre of the smallest and then on the outside edge of the largest butterfly.

Card 2

This second card is coloured Misty Moonlight and Bermuda Bay Blends with the Oval Shape Dies for the frame.

Card 3

The final card of the trio is made with the Magenta Madness cardstock and the butterflies have been coloured with the Magenta Madness and Pumpkin Pie blends

All three cards have been completed with the Gilded Gems and a little white twine bow.

The card bases are from 1/2 sheet of A4 so measure 14.8cm x 21cm and are scored in half at 10.5cm

The front panels are cut from Basic White and are cut to 10.2cm x 14.5cm which gives the smaller border on the front of the card.

All of the square panels for each of the cards measure 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ or 6.5 cm x 6.5cm

Would you like to receive one of these cards?

I love hearing from you! Why not leave me a comment on my blog and perhaps let me know which colour you like best? I will pick out three names at random next Friday 26th March and announce the names on my LIVE video and also replay to your comment on my blog to let you know!

Everyone is welcome to take part – Good luck!
