Welcome to our February blog hop! I am so excited for you to see all the amazing inspiration using the Peaceful Poppies suite. This suite will not have passed you by, because it is on the cover of the Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue, however the whole Stampin’ Artisan Design Team have really showcased so many ideas to get the even more creative ideas from these beautiful bundles!
First up I have a card which was inspired from the pretty peacock striped paper in the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper. The flower was die cut from this paper with the Whisper White die cut overlay. The additional leaves and swirls are die cut from the Pretty Peacock, Pool Party Cardstock and the Vellum.
The striped background is not designer paper – this has been painted using a mix of Pretty Peacock Ink with the Shimmer white Paint & simply painted in lines across the cardstock
To complete the card I have added some of the clear Peaceful Poppies Sequins with the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon
The base of this wreath is an 8″ Cooper Wire wreath wrapped with the 5/16″ (8mm) Braided Burlap Trim, I have then die cut and glued on the poppies. I used a heat glue gun, but a combination of multipurpose glue and glue dots would also work. For the centre of the flowers I have added some faceted gems from the main catalogue.
These are so many fabulous projects you will wanted to hop on around to see all the details and close up photos from the team – Enjoy the blog hop & thank you for taking the time to look around!
