Welcome to this months Artisan Blog Hop! You may have hopped on over from the amazing Elizabeth Price over in the USA or joined with me, either way a very warm welcome.
This month we are using the Abstract Impressions stamp set and Springtime Impressions Thinlits which also comes as a bundle saving you 10%.
I have made slightly larger cards than ‘normal’, these are 5-3/4″ square, so you can get one card from 1 sheet of A4 cardstock. You can then make a correct size/coordinating envelopes using the envelope punch board.
The whisper white front panel of all three cards are 5″ x 5″. I have stamped out across or around the layer with the largest flower in versamark and heat embossed in white. I have then added the smaller cluster of flowers to the Mango Melody card and also heat embossed in white.
The next step was to use the sponge daubers to add some very quick but effective colouring to the flowers, working in small circles and building up the colour. Once the sponging was complete I then added the leaves randomly around the flowers. Top left (Navy Card) is using Soft Sea Foam for the leaves and the other two cards are using Shaded Spruce.
I did go a little butterfly crazy! and added a LOT of layers, I know 2 or 3 would have worked very well but I thought 7 seemed like a good number! haha why not?! it is such a pretty butterfly.
I have also used the Tinted Faceted Buttons on each of the centres of the flowers for some extra sparkle.
Next up on the hop is my friend and super talented Jenni Pauli. If you have the time, please leave us comments – we love to hear from you! Enjoy the hop – Emma xo

Beautiful! I love all of the dimension that you e created by layering those butterflies together!
Your square cards are super awesome! I love seeing the layout in multiple colors and patterns and the multi layered butterflies appear to be fluttering and that’s cool.

Love the effect of heat embossing and sponging, what a great idea!
The multi layered butterflies look adorable. Great projects Emma! x
These are SO pretty! I love the colors you chose and the sponged colors around each flower. I also love the three different layouts in the square format.
All three cards are fantastic. The color swap out really changes the look of each card. The BLUE is my favorite!!!
