This month the Be Inspired Team are sharing Foliage Fun ideas. I couldn’t help but reach for the amazing Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle.

This card started with the Emboss Leaves. I created these on my weekly live and had them left on my desk waiting to be use on a card.
I have coordinated the card base with the leaves and use Shy Shamrock. Shy Shamrock is one of the 2024-2026 In Colour and has added a vibrant green to our collection of colours
The Basic White background was embossed with the folder and the I have matched up the die cut leaves over the top.
The leaves where created by heat embossing them in white on water colour cardstock, and then I have also run them through the embossing folder for extra texture. Once, embossed I have then painted over with the Shy Shamrock Ink with a water painter.
You could simply glue these onto the embossed panel, but I went one step further and reach for my sewing machine. This is a full size sewing machine that I have had since I was about 15 or 16 years old, and it still running perfectly, however it main use these days is cards. I love adding real stitching to my cards for extra texture.
The sentiment was from Simply Said which is such a GREAT stamp set for basic phrases. I have heat embossed this in white onto Basic Black and then cut this out, to split up the sentiment.
I have completed the card with some of the beautiful Shimmer Gems, if you don’t already have some of these, then I highly recommend them. They are super pretty!
