The new Global Design Project Challenge this week is a bright and fun colour combo, and I have reached for the Simply Sparkling Stamp Set.
I firstly stamped the background with an image from the Of Art and Texture Set (available online only) in Daffodil delight. This stamp set has some brilliant textured background that will be perfect for so many of your cards and projects.
The next step was to cut small 1cm strips of Summer Splash, Daffodil Delight and Misty Moonlight and glued them down together onto a piece of Basic White, once glued together I have then stamped over the top with the main Soda Can image in Memento. I cut out the centre section of the can and then paper pieced this over the top of another full image. If you’d like to see this being made, I have made a quick reel for you HERE.
Measurements
- Please Note: A4 is given in Centimetres & Letter cardstock is given in Inches
- Daffodil Delight Card Base
- 29.7cm x 10.5cm – Scored at 14.8cm or 11″ x 4 1/4″ – Scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White layer
- 14.8cm x 10.2cm or 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- 1/2 sheet for stamping out your soda can, sentiment & lemons.
- Misty Moonlight, Summer Splash and Daffodil Delight
- 8cm x 1cm Strips (x3 in each colour) 3″ x 3/8″ (x3 in each colour).
