For the Aug 2024 Color Fusers Blog Hop our colour inspiration is Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia.
My starting point for this card was the background. I used the Ink pads to swipe the ink over the background, so it looks like there is more than just the three colours on the card, but this is where the cross over of colours has created a new mix of colours.
Once I has created the background I really wanted this to be the star of the show, so I have kept the stamping really simple.
The large flower image is from Enduring Beauty [162670], which I have stamped slightly off the background on the left hand side.
The ‘Happy Birthday’ Sentiment is one I had on my desk, but this is from Magnolia Mood [163502]. I have heat embossed this with the new WOW White powder onto Basic Black cardstock and cut this out.
I have completed the card with a few of the Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gem Three Pack.
