Beautiful Day with easy colouring technique

Hope you are having a good week so far?

Today I am sharing with you the make and takes which were made by my customers at my spring/summer launch event. This was using the Beautiful Day set which has a couple of bold images (one butterfly and one flower) they are great for more complex colouring techniques but I wanted to add a touch of your in a very simple way for this card.

The white from panel is 9.5cm x 14cm so it has room to be twisted slightly when adding to the front of the card. I firstly stamped the large flower (or butterfly) of the edge of the card a couple of times, and then added some random smaller flowers (also from this same set)

To add the touches of colour I have used the daubers, or you could also use a sponge for the same look. The sentiments are from the Happy Wishes set, this is a Sale-A-Bration promotion set and you can earn this for free when you spend £90 on product. This is a higher value reward as it is 2 stamp cases full of fabulous sentiment with lots and lot of combinations!

All the black stamping is in Archival Black to ensure the ink didn’t smudge when adding the colour ink over the top.

To finish each card I have added a 1cm strip of the Petal Passion paper (all black and white patterns) with a coordinating ribbon, for this card I have added the new Lemon and Lime twist striped ribbon…

…and for this card I have added the Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon in the Berry Burst. If you would like to see this card being made then you can catch up on my live video over on my Facebook Page HERE

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop my my blog or follow along by email, I really appreciate it, back with more tomorrow, have a great day!
