A Butterfly Duet with Mikaela

Hello everyone!

Wow! Some of the Spring/Summer products and Sale-A-Bration products have been so popular they are flying out the door! The Butterfly Duet Punch is still currently available in the UK, but sadly not for much longer as order have exceeded predictions and it is very low stock!

For my set of cards, I have taken the inspiration from the Navy stripes featured in the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Cards and Envelopes.

The first card (top left) is on a the large Happiness Blooms card with white stripes cut from white cardstock. The set of butterflies have been stitched on, but if you don’t have a sewing machine, you could simply add them with multipurpose glue or mini glue dots.

I just love the navy, gold and pop of pink (Melon Mambo) combo! For some extra gold I have added a swoosh of the gold cord which I love as an alternative to ribbon. The cord has been secured with a small piece of double sided tape which is hidden behind the butterflies.

All the stripes are just cut pieces of cardstock and glimmer, this is the perfect way to use up your scraps!

The large sentiment is one of my new favourite birthday sentiments, I just love the font! This is from the Birthday Celebrations stamp set and has been embossed in gold.
