Today I am sharing a birthday card which I sent out to a number of lovely people in December using a couple of the Sale-A-Bration items which you can earn during the 3rd Jan through to the 31st March. (I will be sharing all the details of this promotion on the 3rd of Jan & in my newsletter)

This card is using a Berry Burst card base with the coordinating ribbon. The background is stamped using the new Amazing You (Sale-A-Bration) stamps and the ribbon was then stitched on using a sewing machine to add extra texture.

The ‘Celebrate’ die was cut a couple of times in Berry Burst and layered up with the top layer in Whisper White. This has been coloured using a Sponge Brayer which allows you to add a lighter touch of colour and build this up as much or as little as you wish. Once dry, I then added a little touch of tombow glue with a dauber onto the ‘Celebrate’ and added the Dazzling Dimond glitter.

The ‘Your Day’ is from a different stamp set called Happy Celebrations, however if you didn’t have this you may have similar words in others sets or you could make this up with a small alphabet set such as the Labeler Alphabet.
