Petal Passion

Hi,

Today I am sharing a birthday card I made for one of my very best friends, she will have received this by now so I am ok to now share with you all. This card  was using the new Petal Passion Paper and coloured with the Blends.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this paper!! I love the versatility of being able to colour with blends, sponge rollers or leave in the black and white. I also love that the paper does all the hard work, of course you can add extra stamps and layers, however with this particular design I have kept the paper as the focus.

To add the extra detail I have cut away the edge of the paper to make this a focal point and the Basic Black card then really makes it blog and the colours pop out even more. You would get 6 card fronts from one of the 12″ x 12″ pieces of paper, with each card front being unique in how the flowers would be cut away, if you followed this same idea. I think they would make a great set of cards and you could change up the sentiments with the different dies.

I have then taken a strip of the paper to add in the coordinating detail to the inside of the card, but as you can see I chose to leave this black and white to keep the inside more simple.

I have used these dies a lot, they are a good size and readable font. I like them within the shape frames but particularly like using the words cut away from the centre and used as I have for this card.

If you would like to get your hands on any of the products I have use for this card you can shop with me online 24/7, some of the product shown is new and will be available from the 03-Jan-2018.

Thanks for stopping by, I’ll be back soon with more ideas for you.
