Oh boy, did I struggle with this colour combo, so I obviously left it right until the very last minute to design a card lol! I am so intrigued to see everyone cards, as I found this colour combo really tricky to work with, I think it might be because we are in Summer here in the UK and these colours definitely have a winter vibe to me.
I knew I wanted to stamp with the Llama with the stripy scarf but was playing around with various options for how I could make it even longer that the image already is. Whilst I was designing this card, I was chatting with my friend Brian over a video call, I was explaining to him how I had imagine a front pocket on the card to have the Llama pull out from this, but honestly, it was getting too complicated for a late night card making session and I needed to abandon this idea for another day, so Brian came up with the idea of simple adding a slot to the front of the card (genius!) I love how this creates the movement with out having to be a super complicated fold. This design would also work so well with the cute sausage dog too.
The scarf has been coloured in Blends, and enabled me to add in all three colours, and the face has been coloured with a touch of Crumb Cake Blends.
This is a very simple design, but with a fun interactive element!
